RFSA

I had a Radiofrequency Spinal Ablation today.  Its fancy talk for singed nerves and more pain.   My Doc is great, and the pain is only temporary, but for now, it just hurts.

Natasha drove me to my appointment and brought me home, then got some Chinese food and we vegged on the couch watching House Wars for a while.  The kids all think they need to lay on me to protect me or something, and I even gave the hedgehog a bath and we cuddled for a while.  (He likes to burrow in a towel and I get to hold the towel.)  Christopher will be home soon, and then I get to cuddle again! :)  Yay!

He really is the best!

Hey-yo!

Hey there! I'm back again,  excuses, excuses, but I'm trying to make myself be better at this kinda stuff.

I am released as a full-time dispatcher and some days... I just don't know what the heck has gotten into people.  Here are my rules for 911...

  • Please know where you are.  Cell phones are not like they show on TV.  They don't pinpoint your address in 0.00015 seconds, and they sure and heck don't tell me that you are living under the bridge and not standing on top of it.
  • Yelling doesn't make you easier to hear, or understand.
  • When you arrive on Scene....  Find the dumbest person, that's who was chosen to call 911.
  • If they say that Fido is a cute little guy that won't hurt anyone, they are talking about members of their own family, and you, (even though you are there to help,) are a threat, and must be barked at or bitten.
  • Whatever they say about drugs, its a lie.
  • The people that boast the most about "I know what to do for a seizure," are the most frantic when it comes to seizures.
  • Some people are so nonchalant about the answer to this next question....  "Is she breathing?" "duh, well, uhm, DEBBIE!  Are you BREATHING?  OMG, I don't think she is breathing," Then the pt takes a normal breath. "OMG, SHES NOT BREATHING." (Repeat Cycle, in...... out...... in..... out....)

Remember my last post about Scentsy?
Well, I'm doing fairly ok at it!  I have been at it for six and a half months now, and I've got a team of 6, going on 7, (cross your fingers.)
I have a party this Saturday to show my team what I learned at Convention. I'm desperately hoping and praying that it goes well, and that I don't leave anything important out.
But.... Its paying my car payment, so I can't complain, and I really urge you to take a look!
